Last week I asked you people to suggest some good AJAX libraries and I also gave you a hint, saying that I am currently working on a pet project. Ok now its time to reveal that pet project. It’s actually an AJAX version of a ping service hosted by Fred.
People at Diva Marketing helped us to get a good name for our service and it was christened as King Ping. Currently it is pinging around 18 ping services and has its own domain at KPing.com. More features to come. You could find more info about it, in the about page.
So guys have a look at the King Ping and do let me know your suggestions, comments, feedbacks or feature requests. You can either leave them here or at Fred’s Blog or drop me an email
Happing Pinging 😀
PS: If you blog about King Ping then tag them with “KingPing“

Thanks Fred,
Even I had a very good experience with this project and learnt a lot of AJAX stuff too…
KPing Rocks:) Thanks Sudar and Fred.
But, It is not available in my Favorite Browser, Avant:(
Just to use KPing, I have to switch to FireFox or IE. I know you people can fix it.
Hey Yuvi can u send me a screenshot or tell me which particular part of the page is not working in Avant, so that I can fix it…
Hi sudar,
No, When I just click Ping, I just get a Message Box saying that AJAX is not supported. And, I am redirected to a Forbidden Error Message. Hope you can Fix that.
Hello Yuvi,
Thank for that comment. I will fix it right now!
Salutations,
Fred
Fixed, it should work now, could you confirm?
Thank,
Salutations,
Fred
No Fred. It’s still not working. Same error. AJAX might’ve been Not supported in Avant, But the Blogger publish status is working properly. So, just try and fix that Bug.
Hello Yuvi,
What I fixed is the redirecting if the browser is not supporting Ajax. Is that working?
It is supposed to redirect you here: http://www.kping.com/pingsold/ping.php
Thank,
Salutations,
Fred
Fred, No it’s not Working. I still get the same old behaviour. And, It’s also Not working in Opera. The Status Boxes open up, but, I don’t get the Status Message, like Ping Recieved, thanks For the Ping, etc…..
And, a Friend of Mine tested it in Safari 2.0.1 and it is working fine. Hope you fix the problem for Avant
Thanks
