    I’m getting the following error whenever I publish a post. I’m currently using WordPress 2.7 and am hosted on MediaTemple.:

    Fatal error: Class ‘SM_FriendFeed’ not found in /nfs/c01/h03/mnt/32603/domains/theosmblog.com/html/wp-content/plugins/post2ff/post2ff.php on line 32

  • Sudar says:

    @Jason,

    I guess the Plugin is not yet compatiable with WordPress 2.7. I will have a look at it and will let you know.

  • Jacob Share says:

    Is it possibly to have the friendfeed message posts use a short url service like bit.ly or tr.im so I can track clicks per message?

    • Sudar says:

      @Jacob,

      Right now it is not possible. But I am working on making the permalink pluggable, so that you can use any short url service, before it is posted to FriendFeed. Should be able to release it in a couple of days.

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function apply_filter() in /var/www/www.jasonhuebel.name/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/post-to-friendfeed/post-to-friendfeed.php on line 59

    Thanks!

      Jason,

      The Plugin is compatible with WordPress 3.0

      Have you installed the Friendfeed API Core Plugin also?

      • Jason Huebel says:

        Sudar,

        I’m running Wordpess 3.0 and have the FF API core installed. Post2FF and API CORE are activated. I’ve entered my username and remote key. So I’m not sure what else it could be. Anything I can do to help track down the problem?

        • Sudar says:

          When are you getting this error? Just after installing the Plugin or while posting to Friendfeed?

          Also how did you updated your WordPress to 3.0. For some people, the update didn’t update all files and were facing a similar problem.

    • effemmeffe says:

      Same problem here.
      I have FF API core installed.
      The error pops out when I press Publish.
      The post is published on my blog despite the error.
      Any idea?
      Thanks in advance.

      I know this is an old question. Also plugin is not working with gif images. I won’t be using it. But if anyone is getting this error (Call to undefined function): You can replace apply_filter() with apply_filters() in the problematic file (wp-content/plugins/post-to-friendfeed/post-to-friendfeed.php)

  • rex says:

    i got the same problem when publishing a new post, though the post was successfully plublished the error still occurs in line 59. I am using wp version 3.0.5. is there any update on this problem? please let me know thanks

  • Great quality post. I love how much information one can have from the internet.

  • I’ve installed this plugin but I’m yet to see it in action, do I need to make any configuration settings anywhere?
