Badge WordPress Plugin

Helps you to display the Badge in your blog. You can use the widget to display the badge in the sidebar or if you need more flexibility you can call the template function.

You can download the Plugin as a zip file from the official WordPress Plugin repository.

Extract the zip file and just drop the contents in the wp-content/plugins/ directory of your WordPress installation and then activate the Plugin from Plugins page. You should see a new widget called “ Badge” in the widgets pages, which you can drag and drop in the sidebar of your theme.

Allows you to display the Badge, without the need to edit the theme. Will be very helpful for non-tech users.

Template Tag

For some reason, you don’t want the widget and want to manually add it, you can use the following template tag which can be used to display the badge in any part of the theme.

Where $badge_type could be any one of the following

  • ‘’
  • ‘foss.in_logo’
  • ‘foss.in_logo_small’
  • ‘foss_in_logo_large’
  • ‘show_me_the_code’
  • ‘foss.in_details’
  • ‘’
